Our History
Our organization had beginings more than 100 years ago, but its formal birth was in 1903,
as the "Buffalo Kennel Club." We were incorporated in 1931 and the name was changed
to the Kennel Club of Buffalo, Inc, and we are an American Kennel Club (AKC) member club.
The mission of the club is to forster understanding of the origins, purposes and standards
of quality of purebred dogs to provide public education activites; and to
promote the responsible pet ownership.
Our meetings, with their interesting and very informative programs, are open to the public
and are held the first Wednesday of each month, at America's Fairgrounds Grange Building.
The club asists people in finding responsible sources for purbred dogs for their family pets.
We will attempt to supply several breeder's names for yoru search.
This is not a "brokerage service: and we can make no guarantee about satisfactory outcomes.
Membership in the club is not exclusive. We do welcome people with positive interest in dogs,
who demonstrate teir willingness to be active in the club and to support its activities.
